PING ist eine Live Linux ISO, basierend auf der excellenten Linux From Scratch (LFS) Dokumentation. Es kann auf eine bootbare CD gebrannt werden oder in eine PXE/TFTP Umgebung eingebunden werden. Mehrere Tools wurden hinzugefügt und geschriben um diese ISO eine Perfekte Wahl zur Sichung und Wiederherstellung ganzer Partionen zu machen. Hört sich wie Symantec GhostTM an, hat aber mehr Features und ist Freeware.
